About Claire Attridge

Cranial sacral therapy in BristolI started having craniosacral sessions years ago to help with migraines. I was amazed at how this light, subtle touch could be so powerful and it led me to think about my physical and emotional health in a different way. I started to understand that my body was part of a whole process to be engaged with rather than just a symptom to be fixed.

I have done extensive post-graduate training with Karlton Terry (USA) and Conscious Embodiment Trainings (UK). They are both leading teachers in the field of pre and perinatal education, which is about our earliest experiences. This training supports my work as a craniosacral therapist, to help clients explore their embodied experience and how it affects their health and wellbeing.

I am a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association, which upholds professional standards of practice and I am committed to continuing professional development.

I also have a post-grad training in the field of pre and peri natal therapy, and I am certified as an Integrative baby Therapy Practitioner. This work is about our earliest experiences and how they affect us. This training supports my work as a craniosacral therapist and can be a very supportive way of working with birth trauma for clients of all ages.

I am also a member of APPPAH, the Association For Prenatal And Perinatal Psychology And Health.
